Idaho Snowmobiling Rentals

You are more than welcome to hitch your own snowmobiles to the trailer and bring them to Triangle C Cabins, or you can rent so you don’t go through that hassle! There are multiple places to rent in Stanley that will make your day of riding convenient.

Sawtooth Traxx, LLC

Sawtooth Traxx, LLC has everything you need for a day out in the snow. Choose between a Polaris RMK 550 Single Person, Polaris Touring 550 Double Person, or a 2018 Polaris Indy 550. Each are great for recreational trail riding and can be rented for a full or half day. If you don’t have gear, don’t worry. Helmets are provided, and you can rent bibs and jackets to stay protected against the elements.

Smiley Creek Lodge

Smiley Creek Lodge has it all! They offer both guided and self-guided trips. Snowmobiles can be rented by the hour, half day, or full day so you have the freedom to choose when you ride. If you’re thinking of getting a rental for more than one day or have never been snowmobiling here before, we recommend starting with a guided tour to get the lay of the land. Then, you can go back for a hot meal at the lodge!

Where to Go Snowmobiling in Idaho

Kelly Creek

In the summer, the trails around Kelly Creek are excellent for hiking and fly fishing. In the winter, they’re perfect for Idaho snowmobiling! Groomed snowmobile trails follow along the creek with excellent opportunities to explore the wide open spaces. There is also the option to take the quick and easy Kelly Creek Loop if you’re on a time crunch.

Stanley to Redfish Lake

If you’re getting your snowmobile rental in Stanley, this trail is the way to go. The trail from Stanley to Redfish Lake is 9 miles of serene beauty. The groomed track is an easy ride, and you can offroad a little to explore the surrounding areas. When you reach the lake, take a moment to relax and enjoy the view before hopping back on your vehicle.

Stanley to Smiley Creek goes right to the Smiley Creek Lodge. On this ride, you’ll be surrounded by gorgeous views of the Sawtooth and White Cloud Mountain Ranges.
